Following a report in The Mail On Sunday that Mrs Thatcher will be getting some kind of state funeral, there's been a flurry of media speculation. This article by Simon Jenkins was more thoughtful than most, although I think he's rather too dismissive of the impact that Thatcher's policies had on millions of people.
Update (3/08/08): Apparently, no decisions about Mrs Thatcher's funeral have, in fact, been made.
