More reviews for The Death Of Margaret Thatcher

Fair to say that the play hasn't been to everyone's liking - check out this vitriolic piece in The Spectator. But here are some more who have enjoyed it:

The Ham And High has given it four stars - the review doesn't seem to be online but I've scanned it for posterity ;-)

Some reviews

Some online reviews that I've found interesting:

International reviews are definitely the best. This one from The Tapei Times doesn't add much about the play (except for perpetuating the myth that that I was inspired by Thatcher visiting Gordon Brown in September 2007 - I wrote the play six months earlier), but if you scroll down there's what I can only assume is a slightly bizarre language exercise.

Quentin Letts from The Daily Mail came to the first preview and this article was the result. If you see the play, you'll recognise what a hilarious misrepresentation this piece is.

The Death Of Margaret Thatcher - previews

The Death Of Margaret Thatcher at The Courtyard Theatre

My new play, The Death Of Margaret Thatcher, is on at The Courtyard Theatre in London, directed by June Abbott, until March 5th 2008.

All the details (and a podcast) are on their website.

I've started this blog partly to keep my own record of the production and the play, and partly because someone else has put up a website about the play at thedeathofmargaretthatcher.com . They're not putting up anything malicious - it seems to be a ruse for Google Adwords - but I thought I'd better do something official.
